1. Contractual Relationship
These Terms of Service govern your access and use of the applications, websites, content, and services offered by ReFixer Inc. By creating an account or accessing the marketplace, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms.
2. The Marketplace Platform
ReFixer operates as a connection marketplace matching Customers seeking home repair and maintenance services with independent verified Technicians. ReFixer does not employ technicians. Customers contract services directly with Technicians via platform work orders.
3. User Accounts & Requirements
To book services or list your business, you must register a secure account. Technicians must provide true, complete credentials, verify licenses and insurance, and pass background checking. Customers agree to provide accurate service location details.
4. Payment and Escrow Escrow
All service payments are managed through secure electronic escrow holding. Customers are billed upfront for the selected service. Funds are held and only released to the technician's account upon completion and satisfied confirmation by the customer or automatic release rules.
5. Platform Vetting and Guarantee
ReFixer runs background screening on all technicians. We back projects with our Happiness Guarantee. If service quality is poor, our arbitration team reviews work photos and coordinates adjustments or refund resolutions.
